All done; going home (:

Sup everybody? Well, as you probably picked up from the title, I'm going home. It's only about half way through the trip, but I'm a little homesick and wanted to come home and go to school and stuff. Had a couple of flights from Pakistan and landed at Sydney, where I was met by my family at about 10pm. We've now all gone to our respective places and it's 2:06am (I'm up because for me it's about 9pm) and I'll try and get all my stuff sorted, like storage boxes, school work and football and try to get things back to normal (:

I don't think I'll be posting on this blog anymore, so if I'm not gonna see you at school, I'll catchas later (:

Pakistan

Two words: load shedding. This is when the government decides to save power by unexpectedly cutting off power to the city throughout the day at seemingly random intervals. Luckily for us, the place we're staying at has a generator to keep us going, but it does get a bit annoying.

Anywho, Pakistan. It's hot and it's dry but it's still pretty cool ( :P get it?) We have a restaurant in our place, but the food is less than good. But, we do have a Pizza Hut next to us, so it's pretty sweet :P

One of the amazing things about Pakistan is that when we go outside, everyone literally stops and stares at us. This is because of our white skin, and my less-than-appropriate clothes for their culture :P Cathy describes it as being 'like Paris Hilton', which I think is fair.

There's not much to do in Pakistan, so if you wanna have a look around, you have to take a car or bus out to one of their tourist attractions.

Didn't spend long in Pakistan, but it was kind of relaxing not doing much.

Annnnnnnndddddd... that's it for now. Catchas later (:

Brisbane to Pakistan

Wow. It's been a while. I think the last blog was about Paris, so after Paris we went to... Australia! For 2 weeks. It's was for Cathy's 3 Minute Thesis competition which involves her summarising her PhD in less than 3 minutes. All we did in Brisbane was just kinda chill for a couple of weeks, and we also got a visit from my sister Miki. Unfortunately, she could only stay for two days.

After Brisbane, we started our long journey to Pakistan. We flew to Singapore, got a connecting flight to Abu Dhabi (we spent the night there) and then got our flight to Pakistan the next day. The amount of flying was something like 18 hours, or something stupid like that :P We've now been in Pakistan for a couple of days and the only comment I have is: it's really hot. We haven't seen much yet, but when we went out yesterday, we did a bit of shopping for clothes, visited their general stores and saw a monkey on the street doing backflips. We got some pictures and videos of the monkey which I might put up later (:

Other than that, I'm just sitting in a hot internet cafe... minus the cafe. So next time I get an internet connection, I'll try put up another blog. Catchas all laters alligators (:

Paris!!

Hey!! So, if you've been following along, you'll know that we've been in Paris for the last few days. And may I say, it is amazing. We stayed in a hotel that, believe it or not, is also a hospital. The first 5 floors are for people who have been admitted to hospital, and the sixth floor is exactly like a hotel! The room was nice and we had a fabulous view of the Notre Dame Cathedral right outside our window! Unfortunately, our plane to Paris was delayed so we got in a little later than expected and pretty much just went to our hotel the first night and slept.

Our first full day in Paris started off with The Catacombs in the morning. The Catacombs contain the bones of 6 million Parisians all stacked up in interesting designs underground. It was cool and dark, and the ceiling was dripping with water, making the ground very wet and muddy, but it was still pretty sweet (:

Later in the afternoon, after a wonderful lunch, we went to the Notre Dame Cathedral. It was also very dark, but had beautiful stained glass windows which gave it a colourful look. We spent a while there wandering around and admiring the treasures of the Catholic church and then went out for a walk around town.

The next day in Paris, we went to The Louvre. It fortunately didn't take long to get in, and the entrance was a huge glass pyramid. The whole thing was so big and there were so many things to look at, but unfortunately we didn't get to spend more than a few hours there. All the art and sculptures were amazing and even the tiniest things like earrings from years ago had the most intricate designs on them. We finished off our time at The Louvre with lunch that was looking over a huge room in the gallery.

The next day was mainly just travelling to different parts of France. We went to Calais, and then Arras, to see a WWI cemetery where one of our relatives is buried. We then finished off the day with an underground tour beneath Arras. I'm not entirely sure what it was a tour of, because even though the tour guide spoke English, her accent was hard to figure out :P

Before we left for our hotel, we took an elevator to the top of a tower and got some amazing pictures of a little town square that was lined with cafes and restaurants.

We're now back in England, after an amazing ferry trip over the English Channel, and are heading over to Brisbane in a couple of days (: So that's our experience in France and... I'll catchas all later ;)

Greenbelt and Trowbridge

Hey! So, Greenbelt's over now, but it was loads of fun. It ended up being a lot bigger than I pictured it, and there was so much stuff to do. There were movies to watch, art and craft, music performances, shops and food stalls. I spent a lot of time just wandering around looking at things, but the place where I spent the most time was at the pancake stall. The pancakes were so delicious! :P I also saw a couple of movies and had heaps of fun, except the festival seemed to go by so fast!

Now I'm back in Trowbridge staying with some old friends and just chillin until we head of to Paris on Tuesday. So, that's pretty much it for now. I'll catchas all later (:

Greenbelt Preparations

Wow. It's been a while since I've blogged, ay? Well, if you read my last blog you'll know that there's a little thing called Greenbelt coming up soon, which is a Christian music festival. Because I'm officially too young to help out, I sit behind a counter in reception all day while my mum and the other workers... work. Now I know that sounds kinda boring, but it's actually really fun. I wake up at about 11, get to reception at 12 and then I set up my little area. I have my laptop out to chill on Facebook, my food and cranberry juice for snacking on during the day, my DS for some Pokemon, and... my calculator for maths homework. As fun as chillin in reception and listening to music is, I still have to do my maths homework online >:( But it's all good coz the rest is fun (:

So. Greenbelt. It's actually being set up on Cheltenham Racecourse. Yeah, like a horse racecourse. There is SO much space and big, white marquees are being set up everywhere. There's also a tent called 'Big Top' which looks like a giant, red circus tent, but I'm not actually sure what it's going to be used for. Today's also going to be a super busy day, because it's the first official day of work; so we're gonna have tonnes of people showing up for their first day at work, and tonnes of deliveries. I also got this super-stylish fluro orange high-vis vest (It's not actually stylish :P).

My mum and I are staying in cute little rooms called 'bunkabins', which I think is supposed to be 'bunk cabins', but whatever :P As for the weather, well, it's England. It's cold, rainy and overcast all the time. But I got a cool new jumper because of it. Oh, speaking of which, I got that jumper in Bristol.

My mum and I had a free weekend like everyone else, and we stayed in a place called Bristol, which I've been to once before, and is still my favourite place in England. We went to @Bristol, which is like Questacon in Australia, but heaps cooler. We spent a little time there doing various brain and body test type things, and we also went to a planetarium there which I really liked. We then spent the rest of the day shopping and going to the movies. While we were shopping, I got a shirt, a jumper, a DS case, and a DS game. We also went out and saw two movies. The first one was Toy Story 3, which I heard was good. And it was. We also saw Step Up 3D, which was AMAZING!!! I loved it so much; and if you haven't seen it, go see it. In 3D.

The next day we went to the ss Great Britain, which is an old ship that's on display and it's really cool. There were different levels to the ship, like you can go below deck, and there are so many rooms to explore and learn about. I can't really say much about the ship coz it's the kind of thing you have to see :P But I'll check if I can get some pictures up on my next blog.

Right, so this is a really long blog, and I have a tonne of maths homework to catch up on :P I'll post some more cool stuff on another day. So I'll catchas all later (:

Oh and I also got 4 pairs of socks (:

2nd Week in Spain

Heyy! Just quickly, I'm back in England, but I shall enlighten you on my last week in Spain. Ok, so you remember how last week I was pretty sick? Well I got better pretty quick. Lols, that rhymes :P Anywho, things got a lot better and I went back to classes and out to the activities and stuff. It was pretty ordinary, but the other day I went out to the city with my group and I had an awesome time; it was so much fun. We also went to the beach one day and one of the monitors (who are people who look after us) said something in Spanish and, using my Spanish skills, translated it as 'Let's go to the ugly strawberry!' Now, I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that I was probably wrong... Lols. Also, I don't think I mentioned it, but I changed programs. That means that I spent daytime at the camp and nighttime with a Spanish family.

The bus picked me up at 8:30am every morning and took me to the school, where I did all my various school-related things, and then took me back to the family at 8pm. The place where I stayed didn't really have a 'family' as such. It was just a kinda elderly woman. She was really nice and she gave us some pretty good food, but she spoke in Spanish and I couldn't understand a lot of it :P I stayed there with two girls called Ana and Ellie who were insanely fun to hang out with; and about half the nights I was there, we went out near the beach to eat ice cream and just chill.

So, my last few days in Spain were pretty good, and really hot; England is definitely a lot colder :P I had a lot of fun, but it's nice to be back in a country where people speak my language (: I'll keep you guys updated on the upcoming music festival (: Catchas later!

Spain!

Hey everybody, sorry I haven´t blogged in a while; it´s been pretty hectic. Also, please excuse any spelling mistakes; Spanish keyboards are actually really hard to use :P Well, I landed in Spain on the 1st of August, and as soon as I got off the plane I knew it was going to be hot, because their airconditioned airport was hot. It was pretty cool though because the people who met me there were really nice. We then all went on a bus and I don´t know exactly how long the ride took, but it was pretty long :P When we got to the camp, there were hundreds of people there! I didn´t realise how big the camp actually was. Keep in mind, this is actually like a fun boarding school. There´s really good music playing over the P.A. all the time, and everyone gets so much free time it´s crazy.

There are random ping pong tables everywhere, volleyball courts, basketball courts, soccer pitches, a pool and so many other cool things. They have a set time table, but it´s pretty much:
Wake up, breakfast, class, break, class, meeting, free time, lunch, free time, activity 1, snack, activity 2, dinner, night activity and then everyone goes to bed at midnight. It´s pretty cool. And today in class we just watched Up in Spanish. Nearly everyone goes to the pool here or walks to the beach in free time, but if you don´t want to, you can just chill and play some ping pong :P

The food is actually pretty good here. I didn´t like it at first, but after today´s meal, I´m convinced that they have possibly the best food on the planet. That´s right. Better than your mother´s. Haha jk, no cooking can beat your mothers cooking :P The only bad thing about this camp so far is that I´ve actually been really unwell for 3 days, and yesterday I only got out of bed once; and that was to eat dinner. But you´ll hopefully be pleased to know that I´m feeling a little better, and learning quite a bit of Spanish.

The other day, we went out to the city and did a bit of walking (which btw sucks because there were lots of slopes, lol) and then got 2 free hours for shopping, but unfortunately, that was when I was at my worst so I just slept under a tree until we left :P I´m still pretty tired, so everyone else is at the beach, but if I come to Spain again, I will definitely bring a friend and enjoy it a lot more (: So yeah, that´s pretty much it for now; sorry there are no pictures coz it´s been really busy. So I´ll catchas all later!!

Brighton, London

Hey. So it's about 9pm here right now, and the day was pretty dull. It started when we got up at 8am and took about a million trains to Brighton. When we got here, I slept for a couple of hours coz I was just really tired, but when I woke up, we went for a walk down to some shops and I got a sandwich... And then I ate it. Anyway, for the rest of the day I pretty much just stayed on YouTube.

I know all this stuff isn't really blog-worthy, but I promised that I'd post a photo of my tattoo. Chillax though, I don't have any real tattoos... for now. Lol jks. Anyway, I hope everyone is having fun at school :P And I'll catchas later (:

England (:

Hey, so first thing's first. I found out Le Tour De France actually was on, and I just missed it. Lol. Soooo, our first full day in England... I totally forgot what we did, so I'm just gonna make up the order of things :P Well, we've gotten used to taking the Tube, which is like a better version of the subway. We walked around some streets for a while (I don't know where we were) and I got some new shoes, which are pretty damn awesome. We also wandered through a market in Covent Gardens and it had some pretty cool stuff. I got a shiny keychain with all this London stuff on it which I thought was cool :P I also got a tattoo on my left forearm, and you'll never guess what it says... 'Nick Jonas'! Woooooo! Haha I'll post a photo of it on my next blog when it looks nice (:

OMG! We also went out and saw Wicked! (Natalie will appreciate that) And it was amazing! (: It was the coolest thing coz we were buying the tickets at this discount ticket place, and my mum and I were deciding which show to see. And for those of you who don't know, Nick Jonas was actually here about 3 days ago performing in Les Miserables. And even though he wasn't in it anymore, I wanted to go see it so I could see what his character was like. So I said to the guy selling the tickets 'Can we get two tickets to Les Mis?' And he made a really short phone call and was like 'I'm sorry, we're not selling the discount tickets because one of the Jonas Brothers was just in it' And I go 'OMG! Look!' and I showed him my tattoo and he was like '...ok...'. Lol, it was cool as. Anyway, so we went and saw Wicked which was awesome. No pictures though, coz we weren't allowed (:

And I'm staying in the hotel for today because I have to do homework... yay. So I'll try and post some photos for my next blog, and I'll catchas all later (:

Iceland to England

YO! So after we finally got checked into our room in Iceland,we spent a couple of days doing various tours, one of which was called the Golden Circle Tour in which we sat on a bus for about 8 hours and got driven around to all the cool places in Iceland. The other tour was the Puffin Tour, where we went on a boat out to an island that had 10,000 puffins on it! It was pretty cool and we also learnt a little bit about puffins (: The funny thing is, that was about it for Ieland, and we were then on our way to the Keflavik Airport.

The flight to England was about 2 hours. They had some movies and tv shows on the little movie player thing, but none of the movies interested me, so I decided to watch the first episode of Glee, just to see what the fuss is all about. I still stand by my first statement, which is that Glee totally sucks monkey butt. It was awful; that was an hour of my life that I want back. Anyway, we landed in England soon after I'd recovered from the horror of watching Glee, and we got to the hotel at about 10:30 or 11:00pm. We pretty much went straight to sleep, and now I'm just chillin' and watching Le Tour De France, which I wasn't aware was on; maybe it's a replay :/

Anyway, I'll catchas all later with something that's hopefully more interesting :P

Iceland!

Hey! So on our last day in New York, we went to the Apple Store! Yay! I got a new set of earphones because mine literally had loose wires hanging out. It was pretty cool down there, and the top of the building is just a big, clear, glass box, and you have to take a set of stairs underground to get to the store. So after I got my earphones, we took a shuttle bus to the JFK Airport and had to wait there for over 3 hours! The flight was about 5 hours long, and there weren't that many annoying people :P We left JFK at 8pm and arrived in Iceland at about 6am, meaning that a lot of my sleeping time was taken away because the actual flight only went for 5 hours ): But I stayed up anyway and watched the movies 'Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel' and 'Stay', and both were pretty good (:

It only just occured to me that people in Canberra are back at school now, so I have to start working too. While I was sitting in a thermal spring this morning at 7am, my mother was teaching me about vitamin D deficiancy. So don't worry, I feel the pain of school work too :P After the spring, we walked down to an Iclandic version of 7/11 and got some stuff to eat. And we've pretty much been sitting in the waiting room for about 3 hours... just waiting. BECAUSE THEY WON'T LET US CHECK IN UNTIL THEY'RE READY! Haha, no, but seriously. It's all good and the weather's been really nice so far. So I'll catcha all later (:

New York!

Hey! Sorry I haven't blogged in a week, but it's been crazy. After we went back to San Diego from Mexico, we then took a bus back to LAX. We flew out to New York, and this flight was a lot more comfortable than the first :P It was less than half the time of the first trip, and I had no one in front of me or behind me. When we landed in New York we went to our hotel, The Gershwin, and pretty much just stayed up late coz we were still on California time.

On our first full day in NYC, we went to The Frick Collection, which is a really cool art gallery. I enjoyed it, but because I got new shoes the other day, my feet were pretty sore by the end. So after that, we were walking down 5th Avenue, which has just about the most expensive clothing stores in the world. We went to a store called 'Saks Fifth Avenue', which is a super expensive clothing and accesory store. Despite all the praise it gets, it has some pretty disgusting clothes. The first picture is one I took of the grossest clothes I have ever seen. Haha anyway, we also went to Central Park. It was pretty cool; we walked past the zoo, but didn't go in coz we'd already been to a zoo in L.A. and we also watched some street performers. Some of them were really good, while some others were... not. We also went and saw 'The Sorcerer's Apprentice', which is lots of fun to watch. (:

So on the next day (which was Monday btw), we went to the Metropolitan Museum of Art. It was alright, but a lot of what I saw was only Greek statues, so I just listened to the audio guide :P We also went on a cruise that went around the bottom half of Manhattan, and right up close to the Statue of Liberty. Later in the afternoon, we went to Times Square, which is totally amazing. It's so bright because everything has massive flashing lights on it, even Maccas. We went to see Eclipse, and it was pretty good because of all the shirtless guys :P Nah but seriously, I had a lot of fun.

Tuesday was kind of a slow day. So we did laundry, went to the post office. You know, all the boring stuff :P But at the end of the day, we went to the top of the Empire State Building, and I got some really sweet pictures of the city when the sun was setting.

The next day, we went back to Central Park and it was a pretty chill day. We went to the GAP store and I got some jeans and a super cool jacket. They're amazing ;P Then we went back to Times Square, and we saw the movie 'Inception'. It is so super cool and totally amazing. After the movie, it was about 10-ish, so went went to Ripley's Believe It or Not! which is a collection of some really weird stuff. You know, bearded ladies, two-headed cows, fire-proof people and the world's fattest dude at the time. It was pretty cool (: There was also this laser course that we did. It was like a secret agent spy movie where the person's breaking into somewhere and they have to dodge all the invisible lasers. Needless to say, I won :P

Lastly, there was today; Thursday. We took the subway downtown to Battery Park where some of the Sorcerer's Apprentice was filmed. Without giving too much away about the movie, we saw a couple of the places in the park that were at the end of the movie (: We then went to another museum (not my idea) that was about Jewish history. And now I'm sitting in the hotel room drinking orange juice and eating chocolate covered ants. Yes, real ants. So now you're all caught up to what's happening, I'll catcha all later (:

Tijuana, Mexico

Hey everyone! Today, we went to Tijuana, Mexico! It was awesome! I don't think I mentioned it, but 3 days ago, I lost my retainer in a restaurant. So, as soon as we got off the train, we went to a dentist and got a new retainer made in just one hour! It was so fast and it's really good. One of the weirdest things about Tijuana though, is that they have soooo many dentists and pharmacies. Anyway after we got the retainer, we went for a walk to downtown Tijuana to have a look around some of the shops. There are people everywhere trying to sell you things when you walk down the street. The people walk up to you and are all like "Hey, why don't you look around the shop, you'll see something you like, I can give you a special price", and some of them actually follow you for a while before they leave you alone. But it's all good because it's such a friendly place, well, where we were at least :P

We went in a couple of shops and there was one really nice guy who recognized us everytime we walked past, so we had a look at the jewellry shop he owned, and we got a bracelet each. Later, we went to KFC for lunch, because I don't like Mexican food, and my mum and I got different burgers. The burgers were both supposed to be chicken, but mum is convinced that hers was rabbit or something :P

When we were walking back to the train station, we had to walk down this street that was under heavy construction. The workers were building a road, and the local people would just walk across the site and in front of tractors. It was crazy, but we just followed the crowd (:

Well, that was pretty much it; Tijuana was so much fun. And the coolest thing was that we actually walked across the border! Haha it was cool. Anyways, I'll keep you guys posted (:
Catcha later (:

Sea World!

Q: Why did the zoo have a dog in it?
A: Because it was a shih tzu!
Haha, lame, I know. But I just thought I'd start off with a joke (: So today, we went to... SEA WORLD! Yay! It was pretty sweet, but it didn't start off too well. See, we went to go on this ride called 'Shipwreck Rapids' which is one of those rides where you sit in that round floating tube thing and you get totally soaked. So we were in the line for about 20 minutes and were standing at the front. We get called over to get in the raft, we all pile in, click in our seat belts, and then get told to get out. Turns out, the ride had 'techincal difficulties' and it had to shut down; so we waited in line for nothing. Great :/ But then we went to see the Shamu show, which is a killer whale show. They did heaps of cool flips and jumps, and they even splashed water out into the crowd (:

After, we went and got something to eat and wandered around some aquariums, looked at some dolphins and patted some rays. After, it was pretty chill, but then we went on a ride called 'Journey to Atlantis' and it was awesome! It was half rollercoaster and half water slide. It takes you up to the top, drops you down this massively steep slope of water, then takes you up the top again to go on the rollercoaster part. It was so much fun (: So that was pretty much it for Sea World, and when we got back, I got to do some homework! Yay! :/ For everyone who I know that's still on holidays, I am super jealous; I have to start homework early!

Haha, anyway, that's all for now, so I'll catcha all later (:

San Diego and Weird Medical Stories :/

Hey everyone, we just left L.A. and now we're in San Diego. But first, the craziest thing that happened to me in L.A. was while we were in Disneyland. I pretty much went blind, I kid you not. It was insane. My eyes burned and I was super photophobic (caused pain by the light) and I had to wear my sunnies and my hoodie all the time because it was so painful. I had my eyes closed for a couple of hours, so my mum had to lead me around everywhere. Fortunately, there was this ride that was underground and purposely dark; but it was still too bright ): It was crazy. The funny part was later, a couple of hours after, when I opened my eyes for the first time and everyone was looking at me. Can you imagine seeing someone walking past with a hoodie on in the hot sun, wearing sunnies, looking down, being towed by someone and stumbling all over the place? So, naturally, I got a lot of weird looks. My mum told me that when I had my eyes closed, there were A LOT of people looking at me. It was funny as.

Also, last night, we found out that I had a stone growing in my arm. I know it sounds crazy, but it actually happened. It's called calcification, and it's when there is a foreign object in the body (in my case, under the skin), and the body's only defense is to cover it in calcium until it's an actual stone. It was about 3mm across and my arm had blood smeared over it from the cut we made :/ Pretty gruesome, I know, but I just thought that was a cool story (:

Anyway, back to San Diego.

The bus ride was a long one, but I slept for most of it. When we got here, it was pretty chill; we just slept and relaxed (I was meant to do some homework, but I didn't). But the next day, which was today,we went to the San Diego Zoo! It was great, and we saw so many crazy animals. We saw kangaroos, wombats and koalas too, which was kinda funny. Unfortunately, it was really hot, so I had to keep putting on sunscreen :/ But apart from that, it was super fun. And tomorrow, we're going to Seaworld! Yay! But that's enough for now, so I'll chat to you guys later. Bye (:

L.A. - Disneyland - Universal Studios

Wassup everyone? So, after our second night in L.A. we got up bright and early for our first day at Disneyland! Yay! It was amazingly awesome and we went on all the rides. My mum and I got our portraits drawn for us, and Gwen Stefani walked past! I don't lie. Also, while we were sitting down, there was an earthquake! I kid you not, it was awesome. It was 5.4 on the Richter scale and we saw the lights swaying and everything. Unfortunately, all the fast rides got shut down because of the earthquake, and we had to go on the Winnie The Pooh ride through the Hundred Acre Woods. It was great :/

Anyway, after the rides opened up again, we had an awesome time. I ate lots of ice cream because it was soooo hot, and I've developed a liking for chocolate milk; I drink it ALL THE TIME!

The next day we went to California Adventure, which is like a super cool version of Disneyland. Don't get me wrong, Disneyland is amazing, but California Adventure has all the really tall and really fast rides. That was the first time I ever went on a rollercoaster, and I LOVED it! I went on the rollercoaster about 5 times that day, and it was sweet as. We also went on a ride called the Maliboomer, which is like that really tall one that pulls you up into the air and then drops you. It's so much fun! I also discovered Churros, and for those of you who don't know, they're like cinnamon donuts, but they're not donut shaped; they're like a cylinder about 40 centimetres long and as thick as a 20 cent piece. They're delicious :P

So on the third day, we went to UNIVERSAL STUDIOS! It is the sweetest place ever! (So far) First up, we went on a thing called the 'Backlot Tour'. It's a tour of old movie sets. They showed us the shark from Jaws, and lots of sets from other super famous movies. We also went past 3 places that were in a Jonas Brothers video clip. It was awesome! It's crazy to see stuff all over TV that we actually went to just the day before. Anyway, the Backlot Tour was so much fun, and we got to see the 'King Kong 3D Experience' and it was amazing. After the tour, we went on lots of the rides and they were all so cool and realistic!

So that was pretty much it for the first few days, and they were all amazing and so much fun. Well, I'll keep you guys updated on everything to come. Catcha later (:

Landed in L.A. :D

Hey everyone! So, we'd been on the plane for 13 hours. And this wasn't a pleasant flight. I had some chick kicking the back of my chair and putting her feet on my arm rests, and the girl next to me kept rolling over while she was sleeping and her blanket kept touching me. But, we eventually landed in L.A. today and it's really nice (: The airport was super crowded and it was so hard to find everything.

So we all know how Americans drive on the other side of the road, right? Well, not only that, but they seem to drive like total lunatics :P There are so many lanes and people will just cut in front of other cars and change lanes all the time. It's crazy. But it was a lot of fun being driven around and seeing all their palm trees on the side of the road. After a bit of a drive from LAX, we signed into our motel and we're still pretty tired.

We went for a walk, and now I'm gonna have a nice shower and then go to the mall. I'll talk to you guys later (:

Preparations

Hey guys, things are getting pretty close to D-Day. Just one more week :D The other day, I got my braces off, got some new clothes and got plenty of vaccinations. Fun (: And today, my mum and I got our haircuts (so we look super stylish for our trip), and I got to pop into school one last time to pick up my poster of Nick Jonas and see all my buddies ;P I also started packing tonight, and you'll be pleased to know that the very first thing I packed was a pair of fairy wings :D I'm also oober excited for the trip and can't wait for it to start. I'll catcha all later (:

Still in Australia

Haha. Haven't left for the amazing trip yet; still in Australia. The day my mum and I take off is July 6th and our first stop is Disneyland, California :P I'll be posting at least two blogs a week (if I can get an internet connection) and tell you all of our wonderful travels around the world. I'll keep you guys posted. (:
